Believe it or not, there are some cats that actually love the water and enjoy spending time on the beach in the sand and even playing with the ocean waves that roll in and out. Some owners have taken their cats on boat trips and some owners live with their cats on house boats. These are unique situations, but it shows that there are cats that do like the water and even the ocean. If you want your cat to enjoy the beach or the waves then you should probably start him off with a small trip just to see, smell and maybe explore. Find out if he likes it or if he’s scared out of his mind. If he’s inquisitive then continue the small trips and stretch them out into longer ones.
