Mini Donkeys as Guardians

If you have small livestock such as mini goats, mini sheep or even regular sized goats and sheep then you may want to consider a guardian for their pasture. Sheep and goats tend to be the main prey for large predators like wolves or coyotes. Having a guardian in the pasture with the sheep and goats can keep the predators away. Guardians are often regular sized or even mini donkeys. That’s right. Donkeys are very territorial and once they accept a pastureland and the inhabitants they become very protective and ensure nothing causes harm. Donkeys will bray, kick and charge down the wolf, bear, coyote, etc. If you want to keep your small herd safe then bring in a donkey of any size to help protect the crew. Need help finding a donkey?
