If you’re planning to travel with your cat, make sure you call hotels ahead of time to find out if cats are allowed. Please do not wait until you arrive at a hotel to find out. Some hotels do not allow cats. Hotels that do allow cats often have only a limited number of pet rooms available. It’s best to call and book ahead of time. When you do this, make sure you ask about pet policies. Some hotels will charge a fee per cat while other hotels charge a one time fee. It’s probably a good idea to bring a small travel size litter box with you so that your cat will have a place to go to the bathroom and feel more comfortable in the hotel.
