There’s Something in My Dog’s Eye

If you think there is something in your dog’s eye then you should call your vet to schedule an appointment. Dogs love to play and sometimes when playing indoors or outdoors they can get debris or something else caught in their eye. If your Boxer is blinking excessively or his eyes are watering, call your vet. You may also want to check your dog’s eye yourself to see if there’s anything obvious in his eye. You can do this by using your thumb to lift the upper eyelid while checking underneath for debris. Do the same with the lower eyelid by using the other hand. If you see something that does not appear to be sticking in or poking at the eye, you can flush the eye with fresh water or use damp cotton swabs to ease the debris out. Ask your vet clinic Plano, TX to remove it.
