Help! My Corgi’s Eye Is Bulging Out from the Head

Believe it or not, there are injuries that can happen to your Corgi or other breed canine that can cause the eye to appear as though it’s coming out of the socket or bulging away from the head. Don’t panic. Call your vet right away. Do not try to repair the eye yourself. Remain calm so that your Corgi will remain somewhat calm as well. Cover the eye with a damp, clean cloth and hold it in place with a loosely wrapped bandage around the head. If possible, soak the cloth in warm, salty water to help preserve the eye. Take your dog to the vet as quickly as possible. You may need to  find an emergency veterinary ophthalmologist and go there if one is close by. Make sure you consult with your vet clinic Wake Forest NC before going to a vet hospital or specialist.
