Teaching Your Child Good Dental Habits

Here are some ways to do that:

Lead By Example: Have a nightly dental care ritual, and brush and floss with your little one. This together time may lead to some cherished memories!

Make It Fun: Kids are more likely to enjoy and accept dental care if there’s an element of fun. Get that toothbrush with the cartoon character, or the toothpaste that sparkles.

Time It Right: While a quick brush is better than none, it’s best to brush for about two minutes. Find a silly song to play, or use an egg timer.

Do Something Fun After: At night, schedule tooth brushing time for just below bed. Then settle down for a bedtime story.
