One great thing about cats is that they don’t need to be taken out to use the bathroom. But it turns out that cats can be rather picky about where their bathroom is located. So, where exactly should you put Fluffy’s litter box?
The first rule of thumb to follow is to put the box in a quiet, out-of-the-way spot in the house. That way, Fluffy can use the bathroom in peace and not be disturbed. No one likes to be interrupted while using the bathroom! Secondly, keep your cat’s litter box away from her food and water dishes, as cats don’t like eating where they go to the bathroom. Last but not least, make sure your cat’s box isn’t blocked accidentally by a screen door, sliding door, or other obstacle, especially when you’re not home.
