What Are Cats Afraid Of?

Cats could also be scared of certain things. Other than balloons and cucumbers, the following items could also scare your pet cat:

Vacuum cleaner

You may have witnessed your pet dog scamper away each time you use your vacuum cleaner. This same thing also happens to cats.The vacuum noise seems to be scaring pets away so they become afraid and run off right as you turn on the vacuum.

Water

Domesticated cats and their untamed cousins in the wild share this fear, including the mighty lion. It could be the sudden temperature change that cats dislike or that feeling of water touching their skin. But whatever it may be, cats will always try to actively avoid bodies of water.

Hairdryer

This small home appliance will not suck up anything like the vacuum, but your pet cat will not know that.  However, they do not like taking chances. Cats might also get bothered by that hot air coming out of the dryer so avoid using these to tease the animal as tempting as it may be.
