Do you often feel like your eyes are tired after staring at a screen for hours? If so, you’re not alone. Eye fatigue is pretty common these days. However, there are some things you can do to prevent—or at least minimize—it.
One thing you’ll want to do is make some changes to your setup. Make sure that your screen is about 20 to 25 inches away from your eyes. It should be slightly below eye level. Also, clean dust and fingerprints off the screen regularly. It’s best to get a screen that tilts and swivels as well.
Lighting is also important. Make sure your setup does not allow for glare on the screen from lights or windows. If you use documents, put the holder next to your screen. Remember to blink and take breaks regularly.
