Why Birds Can Perform Complicated Moves

Based on a study performed at the University of Alberta, scientists have observed that birds have a special brain structure that allows them to plan and execute complex behaviors. They have discovered that birds possess a medial spiriform nucleus that passes information between the cerebellum and the cortex. This passage of information enables birds to perform complicated functions.  Furthermore, researchers have identified that multiple neurons are moving across the frontal part of their brains.

They have more neurons than other mammals, as well. This results in birds being capable of various cognitive processes. These creatures are capable of complex thought.

Similar to humans, not all birds are equally smart. Some are smarter than others. However, the most brilliant birds are usually not domesticated. A few of the smartest bird species are the Macaws, Budgies, and the African grey parrots. They can be adopted or purchased as pets. These creatures can live up to a hundred years under the most optimal environmental conditions.
