Personality And Temperament Of Afador Dogs

As the name suggests, the Afghan Hound is a dog with a hound personality. Meanwhile, Labradors have a cheerful nature. Mixing these two breeds will give you puppies with either of these opposing personalities.

Afadors aren’t too friendly around strangers, so they’re fit for guarding the house. They’re also sweet and playful, so they’re great for your family. However, they may not be too good for little kids below 10. Kids at this age are usually teasing, so they can be annoying to an Afador at times. Overall, Afadors are friendly with children but not with the ones who make fun of them.

Because of their active lifestyle, Afadors have special needs. For instance, Afador dogs are better with natural foods to accommodate their daily energy needs. They also need enough time and a safe way to consume their urge to play.
