Bull Terriers have a short, shiny, flat, and hard-textured coat. They may either be white or colored. While the white variety has a solid white coat (which may come with some colored marks on the head), colored Bull Terriers come in any non-white color (which may come with some white marks).
Grooming is easy, requiring only a weekly brushing routine— use a curry brush or rubber mitt for this. However, daily brushing may be necessary during shedding seasons (which occur twice annually). Other than that, Bull Terriers won’t need anything but occasional baths when they go somewhere stinky. With this, you’ll need dry shampoos or damp cloths.
Take note of nail care and dental hygiene, too. Toothbrushing should be done at least 2-3 times every week. But if you can do daily brushing, that’s better. Nail trimming is done 1-2 times every month or when necessary.
If you notice any signs of infection, parasites, and other skin and hair coat problems, it is a good idea to make an appointment with your animal hospital Washington DC so your pet can undergo a thorough checkup.
