Boston Boxers Around Children And Other Pets

Boston Boxers have a wide range of sizes, but the smaller ones— the Mini Boxers— tend to get easily injured by children. Nevertheless, Boston Boxers are great pets for households with children, given the cheerful and affectionate personality of this breed. Keep in mind, though, that children should know the proper way of approaching and playing with them, considering the dog’s size (which ranges from small to medium).

Due to their playfulness, Boston Boxers may also do well around other animals— that is, of course, provided with a slow but calm introduction and early socialization. Take note that the earlier you expose your doh to other animals, the better. A controlled setting is also essential in teaching your dog to get socialized. But overall, how he will interact with his other furry friends still depends on your Boston Boxer’s socialization, training, and— of course—luck.
