Interesting Daniff Dogs

The Daniff dog is not purebred— they are a cross between an English Mastiff and Great Dane parents. Usually, these dogs come in black-and-white, fawn, brindle, or even a unique pattern of color called harlequin and merle. Despite their short coats, Dannifs shed. So if you or any other people in your household have allergies, this breed may not be the right one for you.

With the Daniff’s large size, don’t get surprised if your toddler gets easily knocked down while playing with this dog. Although the dog may not intend it, such accidents are inevitable during rambunctious play. Adult supervision is advised, but these dogs get along with any age.

They also do well with their fellow pups and cats, given proper training and socialization. Overall, with their smart but stubborn Personality, Daniffs are undoubtedly challenging to train.
