You can also try playing music for them—it’ll help them feel less lonely because they’ll have something familiar in the background while they adjust to being alone.
Finally, give your cat plenty of attention before leaving so that they associate good feelings with being left alone. This will make it easier for them when it comes time for them to get used to being on their own again!
