There are a few reasons why your cat may be ignoring you, and it’s important to understand if and why this behavior is a problem before you can figure out how to fix it.
First of all, there’s a chance that your cat is in pain. Cats are masters at hiding their pain from humans, and they may do so by ignoring us or avoiding us altogether. If your cat has recently been injured or is sick, it needs immediate veterinary attention.
If your cat has been ignoring you for more than a day, it could be because there’s something else going on with them physically or emotionally that’s making them feel uncomfortable around other people or animals in the house.
