Looking adorable, friendly, and caring are these small-bodied pups known as the Glen of Imaal Terriers. They are sometimes simply called “Glen.” Some say because of how these dogs behave, they are “large” dogs inside tiny bodies.
Are you now interested to have one? Why don’t you learn more about their needs so you can decide whether they suit your preference and lifestyle?
The Glens have a medium-length coat with a short undercoat and a rough topcoat. And this dual coat comes in varied colors, including the following:
- Wheaten (cream to red)
- Blue (silver to slate)
- Brindle (tiger-like patterns with solid colors and patches or streaks)
These dogs shed moderately. You do not have to worry about them scattering their hair around your home.
Grooming the Glens is easy because they behave well during the session. You may brush their coat once or twice per week. You should bathe them only every three months or whenever needed.
If you notice any signs of infection, parasites, and other skin and hair coat problems, it is a good idea to make an appointment with your vet clinic Saginaw, MI so your pet can undergo a thorough checkup.
